ABOUT

Elizabeth holds a Master’s in Teaching from Rhode Island College, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Salisbury State University.

She is a baby boomer who is on her 11th makeover. She has survived three husbands, has two wonderful adult children and many step-children and step-grand-kids.

She has worked as a nurses’ aide, the manager of a store-front non-profit food co-op and community action organization, a counselor for autistic kids in a residential treatment facility, a real estate banker, a real estate developer, an emergency nurse, a home care nurse, the associate director of an emergency department, and a patient safety and quality advisor.

She is now halfway through a cross country trip on the Big Daddy (Route 20) from Massachusetts to Oregon, sitting in Portland plotting a path of return. This blog is about that trip, and if she can figure out how to use WordPress, it may be about a whole lot more….
